The contest was held in the Bushwick area, New York, United States. The video went viral after being uploaded by the TikTok account @wishitwasntfouram which showed a number of contestants who felt their faces were similar to Zayn Malik.

The video shows a number of male contestants gathering with appearances and faces similar to Gigi Hadid's ex-boyfriend. They look compact wearing casual outfits and black jackets which are Zayn Malik's mainstay style.

The contestants also have facial beards that are characteristic of Zayn Malik. There are also those who appear with long hair or sleek hair like a series of hairstyles that were once Zayn Malik's mainstay.

Initially, there were five men who participated in the Zayn Malik look-alike contest. Then other men with faces and makeup similar to Zayn's continued to arrive to participate in the contest.

Interestingly, many women wearing hijabs watched this action. They gathered to see the Zayn Malik look-alike contestants.

From the post on the social media account X @strawberrynisaa, it was revealed who the man who won the Zayn Malik look-alike contest was. Although his identity is unknown, at first glance the man does look similar to the former One Direction member.

The man has a French crop hairstyle with a beard on his face. He also has a style similar to Zayn, namely simple with jeans and a black leather jacket.
