Sweet Martabak |
Ingredients needed to make Sweet Martabak and how to make it
Ingredients:
- 360 ml of a mixture of water, liquid milk, and coconut milk
- 1 sachet of SKM
- 220 grams of wheat flour
- 30 grams of starch
- 60 grams of granulated sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp fermipan
- 2 eggs, beaten loose
- 60 gr margarine melted
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
How to make:
1. Mix flour, starch, sugar, salt, vanilla and baking powder. Pour in water in parts while stirring with a whisk until the dough is thick and smooth
2. Add SKM and fermipan, stir well. Let stand for 1 hour
3. Heat the martabak mold over low heat until really hot
4. Add the beaten eggs to the dough, stir well then add the melted margarine, stir well
5. Finally add the baking soda, stir well
6. Pour the dough into the hot mold until half the height of the mold. Press the center with the back of a ladle to form a crispy edge
7. Leave it until the surface is porous. Close the mold. Bake until cooked
8. Remove the cake from the mold. Brush with butter or margarine. Give toppings according to taste.
