Green Banana Recipe
Ingredients:

5 ripe plantains or kepok bananas
150 grams of rice flour
50 grams of wheat flour
500 ml of coconut milk
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3 pandan leaves, blend with a little water and strain
Green food coloring (optional)
Coconut Milk Sauce Ingredients:
500 ml of coconut milk
2 tablespoons of rice flour, dissolve with a little water
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 pandan leaves
Complementary Ingredients:
Red syrup (cocopandan syrup)
Ice cubes to taste
How to Make:
1. Making Green Banana Skin:
Mix rice flour, wheat flour, coconut milk, blended pandan leaves, and salt in a pan. Cook over low heat while stirring until the mixture is thick and cooked. Remove and let warm.
Take a sheet of plastic or banana leaf, brush with a little oil. Take enough green dough, flatten, then place the banana in the middle. Wrap the bananas with the dough until tightly closed. Do this until all the bananas are gone.
2. Steaming the Green Bananas:
Steam the wrapped bananas for 15-20 minutes until cooked. Remove and let cool.
3. Making Coconut Milk Sauce:
Boil coconut milk, salt, pandan leaves, and rice flour solution while stirring until the sauce thickens. Remove.
4. Serving:
Cut the Green Bananas according to taste. Serve with coconut milk sauce, red syrup, and ice cubes.
